RIP Hazard

Well, classes start tomorrow and this week is already starting shitty.

Our little ferret Hazard, whom we have had for 8 or 9 years, passed away today.

But! Of course life can't just be that difficult, nope, I found out in the worst way.

I was heading out to work when I saw my dad's g/f holding him so I asked what was going on and she said he was dying, so I said my goodbyes and was heading out when my father comes out of the back getting a fucking gun ready. Apparently he was putting him out of his misery. I really didn't need to know that.(Seriously that kind of way is the worst way to end their pain in my opinion. Just dole out the money to put them down, god knows both of them have it.)

Then I got to work late because finding out my father was going to SHOOT OUR FERRET took up time.

Then I came home and dad forgot he had absolutely ruined my day already so as soon as I stepped inside he was like 'So, Hazard's dead.'

The only good thing about today was that work wasn't busy.

Hazard was a great ferret, he was deaf but he was super loving and loved to play with the dogs. When he was a baby he would curl up in my hoodie sleeve and sleep against my arm or in my shirt against my stomach I'm really gonna miss him. I wish he could have gone a better way than that.
